Liz Thearle is a nutritionist with over 20 years’ experience. She trained at the Institute for Optimum Nutrition in London and had a thriving practice in Hereford for 16 years. She was also the nutritionist at the London Breast Cancer Haven – a centre where people with breast cancer could come for help in addition to their medical and surgical treatment. She is a Fellow of the Institute for Optimum Nutrition.
Liz first took an interest in hypoglycaemia (before training as a nutritionist) when she realized that if she didn’t eat regularly, she felt shaky and bad-tempered. Furthermore, she began to understand why her father used to get disproportionately angry if his dinner wasn’t ready when he came home from work. Liz also recognizes that she has passed on these traits to two of her three children! Fortunately she discovered that her doctor’s advice to “just have a Mars Bar” was a very short-term solution and for many years now her blood sugar levels have been completely stable.
This experience was excellent preparation for the innumerable patients she has since seen with low (or high) blood sugar levels, most of whom have been amazed at how simple was the solution.
”I saw you this summer and you diagnosed low blood sugar and a twisted pelvis. I have followed your diet suggestions and take the supplements you prescribed with great benefit. A chiropractor straightened me out almost at once. These combined have totally changed my life for the positive. I am so, so grateful to you”. Polly
“I must say, I would not have survived without the diet, which makes me fees so much better” Lyn
“I am delighted to confirm that J….. is now completely symptom free and her health is in fact more stable than it has been since I have known her. Thank you so much for your important part in her recovery” Osteopath.
“I thought you might be interested in just how well I’m doing lately – the best news is that I haven’t had a migraine for some weeks now ….. It all proves to me that when my body is balanced, it is capable of good things and thanks to your help I have been able to achieve that …” Christina.
“Just a note to say how well M…. seems to be these days, so the new diet is working a treat thanks to you”. Doris
“Just writing to say thank you for all your advice on my diet etc. Your work has been much appreciated. I am feeling so much better now” Fiona.
“Many thanks for the fascinating consultation on Friday….. One of the things that came of it is that I realize my reactions to stress are perfectly normal as far as my blood group profile is concerned, and has made me feel less guilty about how I cope with things. Thank you. “ Susie
